New Publication from Dr Alexander R. E. Taylor on space weather infrastructure in the Arctic.

Dr Alexander R. E. Taylor's article on space weather infrastructure in the arctic has just been published in More Than 'Nature' edited by Doris Friedrich, Markus Hirnsperger and Stefan Bauer. It is available to read here (open access).

A new article has been published by Dr Alexander R. E. Taylor, titled ‘Building Planetary Preparedness: The Arctic Circle as Space Weather Sentinel Territory’. The article explores the scientific infrastructure in the Arctic that plays a key role in developing our understanding of ‘space weather’ - electromagnetic disturbances in the upper atmosphere that can disrupt and damage communications infrastructure. 

The article is part of the new edited collection More than 'Nature': Research on Infrastructure and Settlements in the North, edited by Doris Friedrich, Markus Hirnsperger and Stefan Bauer, and published by LIT Verlag. Dr Taylor's article is fully open access and be downloaded here
